As mentioned in the last post, I am doing giveaway every month. This month’s giveaway is Wood Panel Cuckoo Clock – Lime. To win this clock you must answer this question: what is one of the best qualities you see in yourself? And leave the answer in the comment section with your email address (will not be public). The entry will be open until September 27th and the winner will be announced on October 2nd.

The winner will be randomly selected from the entries. (same as last time, a rather old fashioned method of printing and cutting out individual comments and pick one out of an envelope.) Each giveaway will be handled separately, so you must leave a comment to enter for the new giveaway even if you have entered for a previous one. Email you enter will only be used to reach you if you won, and will not be used for anything else (such as sold to 3rd party or add to mailing list.)

Thank you for sharing your most cherished childhood items with me and I enjoyed reading each of them. It was reassuring in someways to learn that most of you have kept your cherished items! My treasure was “Ma-chan” (the cat on the left in the picture). She was my best friend since she came to me on my birthday (don’t remember how old.. but between 6-9 years of age?). The snoopy on the right is the oldest friend I have. I believe that these objects carry memories that’s beyond simple reminder of my childhood. I wonder what they can tell me about my childhood, if they could talk!

Well, I had so much fun with the first giveaway, i decided to make it a monthly event. I will be posting about the new giveaway very soon.

I mentioned a while ago about me working on a calendar. Well, this is what it looks like. It’s a perpetual calendar and even though you can’t see it, it’s backed by a sheet metal, and all numbered wood pieces have magnets on the back. It’s totally functional and easy to use, I love it, it looks awesome…BUT it’s going to be way too expensive and labor intensive for it to make it to my product list.   I will make a couple extra ones and post them on Etsy in the future.

Introducing Twinkle… I’ve been in a mood for making simple modern clock in contrast to the intricate kirie designs. I love them both, simple and complex. Star clocks have been around for a long time, and I wanted to make my own version of it. The clock hands are black on one side and white on the other so you can have the option for white hands. Clock measures 9.5 inches in diameter. It will be available tomorrow on Etsy. I’ll post something again when it’s listed.
